So I really want a sweater jacket. I've tried a few and narrowed it down to two:

Image The gray and black one on the left, or

Image The navy and gray-striped one on the left.

I realize these are not the greatest photos at all (and sorry about the multiple outfits...the images were created for fitreview.com), but...let me know which one is your fave. :-)

It looks like both fit you very well! The black and grey is a little more classic (and may be good for more years of wear) and the navy and grey striped a bit more trendy. When in doubt I go through my closet to figure out which would have more potential for making different outfits or which one would do more to fill a gap.

Yeah, I think the gray and black is more versatile, so I think I'll keep it. You can't really tell in the picture, but they are both a little boxy, and the striped one is boxier. I bought a black one too, which looks good (you can see it in the first set of pics, on the far right, although the picture is really bad), but I own way too many black sweaters (and also a nice black blazer) to justify keeping it. Despite owning like 19 cardigans, I actually didn't have a gray one yet.

Has anyone else tried on one of these? I'd be curious to see a review...my husband thinks the gray sweater jacket looks good buttoned, but he doesn't like it unbuttoned due to boxiness. Due to seaming and darting being present on the sweater jacket, I'm sure it could be taken in pretty easily and inexpensively, but I'm not sure if it would help, just because the garment already FITS....but since it's a sweater, it's kind of unstructured and, as you move around, it tends to move a bit and that's when I seem to end up with the boxy look. It does look very cute buttoned, but I rarely button my sweaters and blazers so I haven't decided whether to keep this sweater jacket yet! I will post more photos later for a better review if you're interested.

I like the black and grey one; actually, I just noticed it on LOFT's website and had determined to buy it when they have a sale. I guess it is a little boxy but I think it still looks good on you. At any rate, I still want to get it! I also like the fit of the black jacket you're wearing in the bottom row picture.

For anyone interested, I posted an expanded review of the Petite Tipped Sweater Jacket from LOFT on fitreview.com. I ended up keeping it!

I really like the navy and gray striped one! But since it is LOFT, only buy for a good sale price since you know that will happen. :)

I posted a review of a new sweater jacket from LOFT: http://thepetitefittingroom.blogspot.co ... eater.html

Also, I love your eyebrows! :)

Do these shrink a lot when washed and dried? I'm normally a petite XS from Loft and ordered the black sweater jacket in that size and it is a little big on me. I was thinking of exchanging it for petite XXS but I can probably make XS work if it shrinks.
