Over the last week, I've been looking at various beauty and fashion blogs, to update my wardrobe and beauty products, and stumbled upon Extra Petite, which then referred me here. I'm in my mid 30s and my style is mostly business casual. I'm 5'3 and 105 pounds, but apparently, petite sized clothing is cut too short. Since sizing has gotten completely ridiculous, I tend to stick to the children's section for casual and/or fun clothing, as well as active wear. I love children's jeans that have the inner, adjustable straps, which I discovered when shopping for my son, who is quite lanky. I've also discovered that it's worth it to spend more on something that is high quality and fits properly, so I do splurge now and then, on higher end, professional clothing.

I'm so happy to find a forum for women who have the same problems that I do. I've only met one other person built like me, but that was 15 years ago. Other petite ladies my age tend to be a bit heavier (though not necessarily overweight), so they can fit regular, petite clothing in a size 2 or 4. Few people understand my frustration of clothes advertized as XS or size 0, which still swallow me.

This forum, as well as Extra Petite, have been absolutely wonderful! Love them but they don't work well with my current wardrobe. Breaks my heart but I want them to find a good home.
