My measurements are as follows: underbust: 25 in full bust: 31 in overbust: 28 in I've tried using several bra calculators, and even emailed TLBC, but I'm just so.....hesitant...especially when it comes to buying bras online. Can you tell I've never done this before? Your underbust and full bust measurements are identical to mine and I wear a 28DD, but not everyone has the same shape/proportions so your size could be something quite different. My advice would be to ignore the bra size calculators, though, because they can be horribly inaccurate especially if your measurements are outside the average range. (Some of them won't even accept underbust measurements less than 28", it seems.) For a 25" underbust I'd recommend trying a 28 band, but cup size is a bit harder to judge by measurements. One way of figuring it out could be looking at the bras you already own and how they fit you - for example, a 32B has the same cup volume as a 30C or 28D, so if the cups on a 32B fit, you should be able to find a similar fit in a 28 or 30 band with a larger cup size.

Thanks for the advice! I usually wear a 32B, so I think I'll try a 30C or 28D.
Oh, and if anyone is thinking about ordering from TLBC, use the code LUCKY10 on St. Patrick's Day (March 17) for 10% off!

I discovered a brand that runs small in the cup and the band and has a lot of pretty options: Affinitas Intimates (carries 30A/B/C and 32A/B/C/D/DD) and Affinitas Parfait (carries 30D/DD(E)/DDD(F)/G/H/I and 32D/DD(E)/DDD(F)/G/H/I). As far as I can tell, you can't order directly from them, but on their website ( http://www.affinitasintimates.com/index.php/) they list a lot of online retailers (including herroom, where I got mine) and physical stores in the US that carry their lines. I only have personal experience with the Parfait line, and from my experience, the 30 band is definitely more like a 28 (or 29?) compared to most other brands, and the cup runs small as well. If you normally wear a 28 or suspect you might need smaller than a 30, give these a try. I have the 4801 and the 6901 bras and they are both great! They are reasonably priced as well - all under $50.

I'd heard a lot about La Senza bras fitting small so I went there yesterday to look for some 30s, but the only one I could find was still too loose in the band. A couple of years ago I had about a 26.5" ribcage and tried on a La Senza 30 that was too tight to fasten, so maybe it's just me... still, it sounds like the fit varies between styles. The Girly & Gorgeous Oversized Check Bra reportedly runs v. tight, as in the 30 would fit a 24-25" ribcage, or so I've heard.
As for the 32s... I'm now amazed that anyone with my ribcage measurement can wear a 32, because the ones I tried (for the sake of figuring out my cup size) felt like they were going to slip right off. It wasn't so much "this bra is a bit loose for me" as "this bra will end up around my waist if I move too much".
Anyway, a recommendation for 28 and 30 bands: Debenhams' own-brand bras. A few are available in 28AA-A and 30AA, but they have lots in 30A and up, plus 28DD to G in the "Gorgeous" range, and the pricing starts at less than £10. I tried on one of the Gorgeous bras and the band was on the tighter side for a 28.

I just discovered that Betsey Johnson offers sizes 30C and 30D for some of their bras. I went bra shopping at the Nordstrom in Seattle. The SA brought me a 30C in Betsey Johnson. I was so happy!! There is the perfect amount of padding for me. I prefer a minimal amount....just enough to avoid any problems when it gets cold! :p Link to my bra: http://www.betseyjohnson.com/product/in ... d=11233181

I'm very care it , and checked out the 30 band bras and I was hoping that it'd fit. The band is perfect, but I guess I'm a 30C at VS because the cups are too small.

Hello, One of the best places to get a strapless bra is from a company in Poland called Ewa Michalak. The site is in basic English. Make sure you follow their fitting instructions because they are different from most companies, but they work. You might find you go up a band size, from a 28 to a 30, because they are really tight. But they fit great . The website is http://www.ewa-michalak.pl/. Good luck!

Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone had tried the little bra company Isis bra? I can't find many blogger reviews about it. I'm curious about how thick the padding is and the band size compared to other TLBC bras. Any other comments on this bra would be appreciated as I am planning on purchasing one Thanks!

I just got my first order from Boux Avenue, a new UK* brand from the former owner of La Senza, and so far I'm impressed; it could potentially be a great option for women in the small band/smallish cup range. They offer 30 bands with A-G cups, but several people have reported that the bands run small, and I ordered a 30C which fits like a 28D (the band is 22" unstretched and will maybe stretch up to 27-28"). Better still, they have a nice broad selection in 30A-D, including basic styles as well as fancy ones, and even a couple of non-wired bras. I chose the Serena non-wired style and I'm really happy with the looks and the fit. It seems better constructed than other such bras I've tried. *International delivery available on request, though it looks like they're going to make it a standard delivery option soon.
