has anyone tried on this dress?

I've found a few photos on blogs online, but can't find any petite reviews. Love this dress, but I live in Canada. I'm sad it doesn't come in petite sizing, but I'm wondering if I could do size 00.

Hi! I'm new here. This is my first post. :-)

I ordered this dress in size 00 and it is definitely too big in the shoulders and waist. I don't have much experience with alterations other than very basic hemming, so I really have no idea if it could be altered into the shape I want it to be, but I think it would be pretty involved. There is quite a bit of extra fabric around the waist, so I am going to return it. I will try to post a pic later.

I don't know my exact measurements, but to give you an idea, I am 5'4", 105 lbs, bust 30B/C (depending on the bra). I wear size 24 in most designer label jeans. I have bigger hips/butt than a lot of petite girls, I think. I can usually wear a regular size 00 skirt from J.Crew if I hem it, but a size 0P fits better. My issue is always that dresses/blazers/blouses are too wide through the torso.

Hope this helps!

hi! i just got this dress and reviewed it here:

http://phiphi-phiphisblog.blogspot.com/ ... igami.html

the issue i had after wearing it for the night is that it was big on my shoulders. i got it in a 0, and my bra strap was showing at some points.. i will get it hemmed to be taken up at the shoulders slightly. proportionately, we are similar - i'm 5'3", 108 lbs 33 chest and i wear a 25 or 26 in designer jeans.
