Does anyone have a good recommendation for normal eyeglasses? I saw some threads about sunglasses, but nothing about normal eyeglasses.
Thanks!

Are you looking for styles or manufacturers? I have some I love to death and have worn for ages (probably should be replaced), sturdy metal frames, they're narrow enough across not to be too wide on my face and not tall either, and the frame is thicker on the sides (makes a statement) but narrow/delicate enough otherwise not to overwhelm my face. Unfortunately I have no idea what manufacturer they are anymore!
What I do remember is the sales lady at the glasses boutique being very helpful in finding what I needed, and pointing me to them - definitely find somewhere with a lot of selection and good customer service and talk to the sales associate about your need for small frames.

I don't have a recommendation for a specific brand, but try the youth section. All the adult glasses were too large for my face, and I found the perfect pair in the kids/adolescents section.

I'd love to hear some suggestions from other bespectacled petites. I was offered the only two youth frames available at my optometrist's office -- one red with flowers, the other purple with flowers. All the adult frames were too big to fit my face. I ended up finding a really cute pair of frames at Anthropologie, on sale for less than $20. They're reading glasses. They fit better than the adult frames I tried at the optometrist's office, but there are drawbacks.
1. They're not intended to be used with prescription lenses or designed to take the daily wear and tear like "real" glasses are. They had a heck of a time getting the original lenses out and the prescription ones in, but they managed (with a lot of grumbling). I've had this pair about 8 months and the right arm is getting pretty loose. I can probably tighten it up, but still.
2. They're not as comfortable as "real" glasses. I really only wear mine when I am driving, reading, using the computer, or watching a movie. I find them to be much heavier than any other glasses I've had (enough that they're uncomfortable after a few hours), and because I have a small, flat-ish nose bridge, my plastic frames tend to slide down a little. I think the extra weight is from the lenses, which are quite thick. The weight is really noticeable on the nose after about an hour.
They're wicked cute, though. I am putting up with the discomfort and the so-so quality because they look like "grown up" glasses and they were so cheap. I think it was $80 total, including the prescription lenses and the frames. The other advice I have is to get your face measured by a professional at the optometrist's and have them write down the measurements, and then search online to find a frame that matches up with your requirements. This pair is not perfect, but at least it doesn't look like I beat up a 4th grader and stole her glasses and matching Lisa Frank pencil case.

I have had good luck over the years with Ralph Lauren glasses and recently got a pair through Warby Parker.
