So you may have to try many Chinese stores before you find something that fits! Have you tried New Kennedy Square?

Anyways enough ranting...I found that with wacoal its a hit or miss. I've only tried wacoal at Nordstrom, and not at the stores in Toronto. The band fits, but depending on the style and shape of the bra, it fits weird and feels uncomfortable. During my last trip to HK I stocked up on Triumph bras. :D I think the sizes in Asia run smaller.

My sister used to buy Princess Tam-Tam bras from figleaves.com, the UK site because she said the had more smaller sizes. But shippings really expensive. I bought one Princess Tam-Tam bra, they don't have the thick padding like most bras from Chinese stores.

I haven't, where is that? I've moved to Mississauga for the next four months, but I plan on visiting Markham often. There's so much padding in the Chinese bras - It doesn't help that my mom likes to shove everything with over an inch of padding for me to try on. I agree with your Wacoal statement - the band fit well, but the cups were fitted weird, and perhaps too stiff?

Change Lingerie has a selection of petite bras (28 and 30 band size), it's located downtown at 315 Queen St W. I've been there a few times, it's the only place in TO that I know of that carries 28C!

:O I think I passed by it on Saturday!

New Kennedy Square is also called Peachtree Plaza, its located at Hwy 7 and Kennedy. I think they may have only 1 store in there.

Holt Renfrew: Shop for higher end labels like Elie Tahari, Theory, Nanette Lepore, etc...no petite department, but the shoes run small. I have seen a reasonable selection of 4 1/2s not only in Stuart Weitzman, but also Tory Burch. I swear this specific Holt Renfrew is the only place where I've actually seen any Tory Burch smaller than a 5. Cole Haan is often available in smaller sizes too. Please note that the Bloor Street store has a much larger selection of petite-friendly clothing than the stores at Yorkdale or Sherway.

Banana Republic: Three stores in Toronto sell petite sizes. Two are located downtown (Bloor Street and The Eaton Centre) and one in the Don Mills/Eglinton area (Shops at Don Mills)

Lululemon: Athletic wear with small sizing. Several locations across the city.

Jacob: No petite sizes, but as noted in the Jacob thread, they are introducing XXS. In major malls.

Ron White Bloor-Yorkville location at the Manulife Centre and the Bayview Village stores both have a decent smaller shoe sizes in 5 and 5 1/2. Known for the "All Day Heel," the shoes tend to be more comfortable than other dress shoes.

Browns Shoes: Several locations across the city. Stores in areas which have a decent sized Asian clientele are more likely to sell smaller sizes (namely Yorkville and Bayview Village stores. These stores also sell more expensive shoes)

Judith & Charles: No petite sizes, but they sell a lot of TeenFlo branded clothing (Judith and Charles are the people who hold the TeenFlo licence in North America). At Bayview Village

Anthropologie: Two stores in Toronto (one in Yorkville and the other at Shops at Don Mills). No petite sizes in stores other than jeans.

There are also plenty of boutiques on Queen Street West and other places, but they may or may not be petite friendly. Stores in Asian malls like Pacific Mall also sell petite-friendly clothing. However, these stores are in the suburbs (aka "The 905") and not in Toronto proper (aka "The 416" (though more and more phone numbers now have a 647 area code))

I live in the west end, but I just thought I'd add to this list:

Banana Republic, Petites - Sherway Gardens

Talbots, Petites - Square One

I went to Square One a few weeks ago, and the Talbots was gone. Did they relocate or just shut down? It was present without any signs of closure the week before.

Does anyone know where to purchase petite shoes (size 4 and under) in Toronto? I know Holt Renfrew carries some. Are there any other places?

- There's a store called "Thano" at Markville Mall in Markham which carries both larger and smaller shoes. They're Italian (I think?) and tend to be pretty expensive, but go as low as $30 in clearance. My prom shoes (strappy silver heels) were from here. (McCowan & Highway 7)

- You can also order size 4's in Stuart Weitzman stores. There's one in the Eaton's Centre. Although they don't stock a 4, I believe Brown's will also let you order a pair of Stuart's if they are made in that size.

- Pacific Mall also has very limited styles in a size 4, but quality is usually an issue, and sales people are extra pushy. (Kennedy & Steeles)

- I've heard Muskat Brown carries small shoes (2528 Yonge Street)

For those of you looking for bras from the Little Bra Company in Toronto - Linea Intima said that they'll be carrying them at their Bayview Village and Oakville stores starting this weekend.

Thought I'd add to an old post... I'm surprised that there have been no mentions of Costa Blanca.

Costa Blanca reminds me of my college days and when I went through trendy "disposable" clothes like crazy and didn't mind the loud music in the store. (perhaps others feel the same which would explain why it hasn't been mentioned).

Now that I'm trying to build a respectable work wardrobe, I find myself coming back to this store because of the fit. The clothes generally fit small and I find that the size 2's fit me really well and some of the styles are respectable for work. I do worry about the quality but I try to wash everything on delicate cycle anyway.
