I'm having a hard time finding nice suits that are 1) high-end quality and 2) vegan. The vegan part is hardest. I noticed that some Theory jackets (including the coveted Gratian blazer, depending on the year it came out) are a vegan combination of materials (ramie/viscose), but I'm not having much luck finding their older pieces in stock.

I'm sure most people aren't on the lookout for specifically vegan clothing, but if you've noticed that you have a nice suit that happens to not contain wool, I'd definitely appreciate any pointers. Of course, I'm petite, too (a 00P all around), but some brand recommendations would be a good start. I'm aiming for somewhat conservative (so, black or charcoal, inconspicuous tweed or pinstipes) interview clothes.

PS. Would also love great vegan pumps in size 5.5! Maybe a 6, if I add padding. :-)

Thank you!

The Ann Taylor Outlet has signature pumps that are similar to the Ann Taylor perfect leather pumps, but they are made of man made materials. The smallest size available is 5.5. Here's a post that I found on them:

You may also want to check out Target. Some of their shoes, such as the Versie pumps, are made of faux leather. Here's a review of them by Extra Petite: http://www.extrapetite.com/2011/05/targ ... e-and.html

i too am a petite vegan and have difficulty finding non-leather pumps and non-wool suits. i fell in love with the theory gratian suit when it first came out (i must have tried it on a hundred times at bloomingdales) but was in between school and my first job so i didn't have money in the bank for it. now that i am employed, i would love to buy one in a 00p (preferred) or 0p if anyone is thinking about parting ways with theirs.

other than theory, i find that h&m reliably carries conservative suiting (though the quality is clearly not as good as theory) and personally own three because it is difficult to find petite vegan suits. i also own a few ann taylor loft suits (synthetic blends) but find that the jackets tend to be boxy and the skirts never quite fit right.

I'm having a hard time buying clothes. Besides wool and leather, I totally refuse to buy cotton... It's so frustrating!

There are so many vegan restaurants today, why not ready-to-wear (or similar) shops?
