Has anyone tried Marks & Spencer bras? I like the range of sizes they have and that they're relatively inexpensive... been thinking about trying them.

I might give them a try when I go to the UK this September.

My mom swears by them. I didn't know they had petite/small sizes. Must try them out when I go to the UK this fall!

I ordered a 28B unpadded underwire bra from them. It's absolutely gorgeous and the quality looks good. However the bra ran extremely small. It looked to be a 26C instead of a 28B.

I buy all my bras at M&S since they introduced smaller band sizes. I'm a 28D/30C. I can sometimes get away with a 32B if it's cut small but a 32A gives me quad-boob and slides around all over the place even on the tightest hook. I normally wear a pushup as the shape suits me. It can be a bit hit and miss - I've picked up a couple of 28D bras in the sale without trying them on to discover they are more like a 26 band size - anyone want them?? (ETA: for free)

They're definitely worth trying, but I've had problems with inconsistent fit, particularly in their Limited Collection range. Last month I tried on two bras in my usual size (28DD), and one band was big enough to fasten on the tightest hook straight away, whilst the other was so small I could barely breathe in it. Some of their 28 bands are definitely more like 26s.
I think they are quite good value, and there are some very pretty styles, but I won't buy bras there without trying them on first. That said, they do have a good returns policy.

Just a heads-up: the 2-pack Limited Collection Assorted Padded Bras seem to run small in both cup and band. I tried on the 28DD last week, and the band was a pretty good fit for my ~25" ribcage, but the cups were definitely too small. It comes in 28D-DD and 30-38 A-DD.

I think there's a discrepancy between UK and US bra sizing, as according to this website ( http://www.85b.org/bra_conv.php), a US 30A is equivalent to a UK 30B. From personal experience, I've also found that an M&S (UK) 30B fits pretty similarly to a CK (US) 30A - so confusing! M&S also offers an 'Angel' line which runs down to 28A and fits small, it's designed for younger girls but the underwired versions are well-made and gorgeous. :)

Good to know that the Angel bras fit small. I keep meaning to try on some in 30D or DD (the 28s only go up to a C cup) but I'm afraid the bands will be too big. I have to wonder why they don't make preteen bras in 28D - which is about the same cup size as 32B, just on a smaller band - when they offer up to a DD cup in 30-34 bands! I'm grateful that M&S make 28-30 bands at all as I can remember when they didn't do anything below a 32, but I'd love it if they sorted out their sizing and started offering more cup sizes in each style. Right now they carry some bras in 28AA-C, some in 28D-DD and some in 28DD-G, which wouldn't be a problem if the fit was consistent between different styles, but it's not. Some of them run a lot smaller than others, in both band and cup.

I bought one over ebay UK and for only with shipping $15CND, which is a steal! I got the 28B, but found I had to get the band and straps (always straps, they think I must be 6 foot or something since they make them so long!) altered smaller.... I think a 26C would have been a better fit, but I don't know if that exists anywhere... :/ It was from the Limited Collection and it's black with nice white dots and white lace on the cups, which makes for a nice change from what I'm used to. I guess, that I must be a 26 band considering the fit, but I don't know from what I was reading about the comparisons and differences in the UK vs US sizes for M&S. Either way, I'll buy another bra from them again. Really good quality and decent enough fit (when I altered it) and I will buy from there again most definitely. I'm thrilled that a department store actually sees that below 32 band exists! I got a 28B in a different bra and was a better fit (from else where, not M&S), but I should really start looking at 26 bands if at all possible as it closes in closer at the front as well. Any advice? I once got fitted and was told I'm a 26D! But, god knows I can't find that very easily in nice colours or anything. However, I'm reading that some people found that the 28 band fitted more like at 26? Oh, dear. Now I'm just confused! To Edit: I think I'm going to take some measurements and maybe I could use some of your help. I don't have any friends that have the problem that I do that I can talk to about this or anything. They think I'm lucky somehow.
