Hey girls. I know its still a bit early for bathing suit season but I decided to start my search early this year in hopes of finding a nice monokini that fits. I'm on the smaller end of the petite spectrum so finding stuff that fits tends to be a nightmare. I was thinking of buying this suit from victoria's secret but since they dont carry usually carry swimwear in their stores I won't be able to try it on before I order it. However I think it will still need some alterations.

Has anyone ever bought any one piece swimwear from victoria's secret before? And do you guys have any suggestions on brands that run small or cater to petites?

Hi there! Just my kind of topic! :) It's definitely not too early to plan! I always purchase my bathing suits in the winter because that's when they go on sale. I have purchased many from VS and I actually just purchased that same one (flower) for my upcoming cruise...It's has not arrive yet but I have an older one that's very similar. The plunge monokini doesn't have much support so it's better for someone's who's not busty. I got the Size S and it fit perfectly!

There are a lot of ebay stores that sell monikinis as well. Hope this helps!

As for other VS pieces, I really like the Push Up Demi Triangle beceause it has support and gives you an extra cup size. It's really amazing on...

If you're feeling extra boobilicious, this will give you two cups size up:

thanks for the reply! I think I'll try ordering an extra small and see how that goes. My only worry is that my hips are quite a bit smaller than yours. Mine are 31.5 inches and yours are 35. So I'm afraid the suit might be too big in that area. Does anyone know of any monokinis made for women with smaller hips?

Hi summersun101! Your measurements are right on point with me prior to my son. Now I'm 32.5-25.5-33.5 at 4'9". I didn't buy a monokini because I too had a hard time finding a good fit. But I did just buy some VS bikinis lately. I purchased xs tops (bandeau top) and xs bottoms (double string, side tie band bottoms). I was a bit worried that VS ran big because I have read some blogs that they do, but when I received them it was actually smaller than I expected, the top felt really snug; I'm sure a size small would have fit me better. If you have ever tried on xs bikini from Target, VS actually were smaller. Anyways, I hope you find that monokini that your looking for. Keep us posted if you find any luck:)
