Has anyone tried J.Crew's new cafe capri pant (http://www.jcrew.com/womens_category/pa ... /34629.jsp) yet? It's currently being promoted as Jenna's picks and what intrigues me most is that they have a little feature with how their employees match this pant with different outfits. (http://www.jcrew.com/womens_feature/jennaspicks.jsp) One of the employees -- Emma, "men's buying maestro", is described as being petite and 5'1" and she looks great in the pant! I live in Canada and can't readily try this one out buy has anyone bought it yet? I am loving the look of it.

i tried the regular size in a 0 (my regular j crew size is either 0 or 2P). it was fine in the waist and quite long. the petite would have been just right with no hemming required.

i realize that this post is pretty old, but the pants are on sale!!

I tried the 00 and they were huge and unflattering! I find that if pants are cropped, they should be fairly slim or they will make my legs look stumpy.

They just released a girl's version of the café capri that I'm interested in trying out. Anyone already try those on?

I just got them in the mail yesterday (in a 00P). Will do a proper review next week. They don't look horrible on me but I am not 100% sure, either =)

I thought I would post a review of their classic capri, in case anyone is wondering.
I ordered this in a size P00. It was a bit too tight in the thighs, but I have somewhat thick thighs. Fit just a tiny bit snug in the waist but not too bad. However the fit isn't appropriate for work for me, I like pants looser fitting for work. The main problem was they were too short, and hit awkwardly several inches above my ankle. I am going to try to exchange them for a regular 00.
