I recently ordered the perfect pencil skirt in petite 00 (link at bottom of this post). It was too big. Specifically, the waist was maybe an inch too wide and the overall fit was just too boxy. Not flattering at all, and very disappointing. I used to be thinner than I am now (about 95 lbs), and I was hoping that my recent weight gain plus the fact that I have a big butt would help, but they didn't. On the other hand, I've had good luck with Ann Taylor petite 00 pencils skirts. Highly recommend! http://www.jcrew.com/AST/Browse/WomenBr ... /18630.jsp

I also ordered the perfect pencil skirt in 00p. It was about two inches too large, and the length was about a inch too long. I ended up getting it tailored. J.Crew tends to get the length right for petites, but the width is too big.

After my recent J.Crew experiences I will not even waste my time on ordering the P00 suiting to try. But I sure hope someone else does to satisfy my curiosity : )
This reminds me, last night I wrote an email to J.Crew customer service ranting about the inaccurate size chart (per the chart, my measurements could almost render me a P2!) and their weak petite offerings. They responded immediately with a generic "oh so sorry for your experience..." and said they forwarded it to the design team. I'm sure nothing will come of it ... but I guess it doesn't hurt to give them my 2 cents!

It sounds like the 00 petite is sized for someone 5'2 to 5'3 and weighs around 110-115.

J. Crew sizing for petite is totally wrong, especially for pants size. They are way too big. I ordered my normal jeans size, 25P, and it's too big for me; both waist and lenght are not right. Unfortunately, I have to keep it because it's final sale; no exchanges and no returns

Bah - I noticed that their size charts actually states that petite sizes have "reduced overall proportions to better fit smaller frames" however I've found that their petite pants are still boxy and ill-proportioned despite a shorter inseam and "smaller" measurements.
I am sure the suits are the same, which is such a shame because their lookbook pics with the girls in suits and sneakers are so cute!

It was still huge on me! It was supposed to be final sale, but I called customer service and told them there was a P0 back up for grabs and if I could still please return my P2. They made a note on my order and I was able to return it back to the store. Unfortunately after I got off the phone with customer service the P0 was already gone! But at least I was still able to return my "final sale" jacket.

Has anyone here tried kids bottoms at jcrew? If so, what size?
They seem to have free shipping on crewcuts fairly often and the adult bottoms are so clearly hopeless.

I ordered their 00P Super 120s 1035 trouser and it was a little big (95-98lbs, 5'1"). I wasn't swimming in it the way I end up swimming in BR petite pants, but it was about an inch too much in the waist and I had to get it slimmed. J.Crew pants I find are very straight cut and is just their style... boxy, I guess. I do love their quality and customer service though.
