I've been looking for work dresses, so another item I tried on at my vist to H&M last Sunday was this beige dress (also comes in navy/white). I liked the appearance from the front as it looked like it would be form-fitting but because of the material, not too tight for work and that it would be nice under blazers. To my dismay, the upper part of the back is open, with a hook closure at the top and zipper on the bottom starting from the waist.

Aside from the open back, which alone would have made me dismiss the dress since it's not work appropriate, the fit wasn't great. The dress was bunchy in the chest area (you can sort of tell in the side picture) and made me look kind of saggy there. Also, as you can see from the back picture, the upper back bulges out strangely. This was a pass. For reference, I tried on the size 2 and am just under 5', 95 pounds.

I tried on the blue/white version and agree! The open back is saggy. I would actually like the dress if not for that. I thought everything else was fine for as a night out sort of dress (a bit short in the skirt maybe, hitting at mid-thigh, wouldn't bend over a lot in it). I found the chain hook in the back hard to close as well.
