The US sz petite 1 (although tag says 0)/ UK petite 4 fits very small. Smaller than a 00P/XXSP from American stores, possibly smaller than an H&M sz 2. The torso is narrowly cut but the hips are generous. Here is "red" on me...looks more like a coral:

I received this dress in the mail yesterday. It's in the same coral red color PAG reviewed. Maybe they ran out of true red? hmm. Looks like my pictures came out a little more saturated. (should take pics during day time I guess)

I also ordered in UK4/US0. Neck and arm opening are small. Probably have to put the hair in a bun after putting on the dress. Bottom hem is tight. It would be a very interesting experiment to get in/out of a SUV/taller vehicles! Like PAG mentioned, even with the (small) slit in the back, the bottom is still pretty slim.

I am about 5'2", 32/23/33. Dress hits me a little above the knee.

You both look gorgeous! I actually like the coral color--the red seems a little severe based on the asos website pictures.

wow, love that dress! the coral is really nice and very versatile esp. for spring/summer - more so than a red would be, i think.

I know more than one person has asked about how the regular sizes compare to petites, so here are the measurements of the UK 6 / US 2 regular in black:

15" across the bust
12.5" across the waist
17.9" across the fullest part of the hips
~14.25" across the hem
15" from centre back to waist
35.75" total length (from shoulder to hem)

In other words, it's longer than the UK 4 petite but not drastically larger - 0.5" in the bust and 1" in the waist. As Petite Asian Girl has mentioned, hemming could be tricky because of the narrow hem and short back slit.

This dress will be a return for me because I found the skirt looked and felt awkward when moving around, but I'm not used to pencil skirts so your mileage may vary. Here's a photo anyway:



The bust fits snugly but there's a little room in the waist (I'm about 31-23-32 at 5'7"). The fit is decent, but the skirt shape just wasn't right for me.

ETA: just wanted to mention that the side zip does go all the way up to the armhole. I specify this because those side zips that don't quite reach the armhole (H&M designers seem to be fond of them) are a dealbreaker for me, haha.

I also ordered this dress (in four colors and three sizes...hoping to keep only two or three). I ordered the Petite Size 4 to compare expecting to not be able to zip up and I was right, it was indeed a very tight fit and only barely zips up after a bit of struggle.

Alright petite peeps, I, too, succumb to buying this dress. However, I think it fits horribly on me.

Here it is in the royal blue. I really love this color against my skin. but the sewing quality is less than satisfactory to me. I might still keep the blue b/c my mom says she can fix the dimples (refer to 2nd pic). What do you guys think?
