First let me say that Lula Lu has been a life saver, for the first time EVER I actually have a bra that fits. However, their two "lacey pretty AAA bras" have no padding. Now I don't want "fake boobs" but hello....if I'm a 32AAA I could use a little extra lift. I'm so sick of B cup people coming on these discussion threads asking why a AA or AAA girl even needs a bra - obviously--- it is so we don't look like 12 year old boys! I have boobs, there just small and if I push them up just a smidge I actually look like a girl. That said, I would love a pretty bra for once. The aerie Paige bra in blue in 32AA (I'm really between a AA and AAA) fits ok and it is literally the only non white/nude/black bra I've ever owned that my breast filled the cup...and it's borderline on the fit. Does anyone know of a site that sells AAA bras that aren't boring?

needsoembraadvice: can I "like" your post? Yes, we need bras, and our goal is not to look like a 12 year old boy.... I"m apparently looking for the same bra you are, so if you find it, please let me know!!

I hate when people say that ("Don't you think you're truly a 32 A instead of deluding yourself into thinking you're a 36 AAA?"). I am a 36 AAA. Why won't anyone believe me? If I were to squeeze into a 32 band, you'd see the squished flesh hanging over the edges (and I'm not even fat--you can see my ribs there) and the red pressure marks from where the band was digging in. I am truly a 36 AAA. My boobs are so flat, you can see my ribs right through the breast tissue when I raise my arms. Please, do us flatties the honour of believing us when we say we are AAA!

You don't truly need the support if you're truly a triple A cup. I'm a 28C in bra size. During college, I went totally bra-less to make my homeless lifestyle feel even more minimal and liberating (only while in college are these fun experiments even feasible...miss those days). Maybe if my torso was wider and sturdier, I could've nixed bras altogether and avoided the bra (sports) for vigorous exercise in and outside of the gym.
Anyway, my point is if you're born with breasts the size perfect for going au naturale, you should embrace or at least try going bra-less. Studies show that constantly wearing a bra actually atrophies your breasts (muscles) rather than preserve it's muscle tone. A good comparison would be wearing a cast for your entire life even your leg even after your leg has healed (that leg--muscles and bone--will be too atrophied for function if and when the cast is taken off).
I find there's beauty the way some of my small, perky breasted friends wear their outfits without a bra. It's a modest look that a big-breasted women can't pull off.

You're right, I totally don't need the support and if I didn't have serious nipple pokage issues, I'd be happy to go braless. I go au naturel at home, but when I'm out, it's kind of gross to see the nipples poking out so much. When I was breastfeeding, the lactation specialist told me I have very long nipples. Hence, the search for a good AAA bra.

lol. long nipples! breastfeeding must have been easy sailing right from the very first suckle. Strangely enough, I had ONE inverted nipple...on the breast that made so much milk it itself (its twin, not really) would make puddles while I slept. That might have to do with my baby not being able to properly really drink from it for the first few weeks until the nipple started coming out. Anyway, this is totally off topic. lol
You're right, summer wear with all its chiffons and thin cottons makes for nipple shows without a bra. I get away without bras during the winter because of the thicker fabrics worn during that season and because my breasts are usually always buried under a coat. During the summer, however, I just wear camisoles to make the nipples inapparent.
